As today , Nikon D3100 is set to $699.95 ( from Nikon website ) . This includes a lens kit : 18-55mm ƒ/3.5–5.6G VR and accesories / software. I cannot find (yet) stores that offer Nikon D3100 body only . Maybe because it is too cheap ? or maybe its Nikon’s policy for entry-level cameras ? hm i think there is nothing wrong with that , selecting your first lens could be hard for a newbie :) . Lets just be happy with the kit lens.
